 Guardians of The Galaxy: Loss Brings us Together     Thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe many people have become publicly aware of some very niche and unknown characters, a perfect example of this effect is The Guardians of The Galaxy. The title of The Guardians in their original comic books have been passed down from group to group with members changing out very commonly. However, due to the MCU the team that has become the most famous is Human Peter Quill A.K.A Star-Lord, the Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, and of course Rocket Raccoon and his best friend Groot the Flora Colossus, yes a giant tree man.      On paper, this should not work, none of this should work and connect with audiences, but it did!  Mass Effect: A Masterclass in World Building     Have you ever wondered what could lie just outside the reach of our atmosphere? In the depths of space in a seemingly everlasting expanse beyond our solar system? What planets there are to see, the potential of life and species far older or more advanced than our own? These are questions I have found myself asking countless times throughout my life since I first discovered Science Fiction as a kid and it lead me to question all kinds of things about the universe around me. Whether or not these things will be discovered by Humans one day is still unknown, however Mass Effect allowed me to experience what it could be like to have these questions answered, and as I hope to explain in this blog post is a masterclass in world building.
